I studied at Harrow School of Art with 1yr Foundation followed by 3yrs Drawing & Illustration. I won the Griffin award in that time.
I initially worked for ad agencies & magazines including: Sunday Telegraph Supplement, Ideal Home & TV Times; Illustrating tv & film characters, & also the homes they’d lived in through their life.. these included: Ronald Reagan, Princess of Wales, Jimmy Tarbuck, Jean Marsh, Sylvia Sims..
I think it was all those “Streets of Fame” that led me into architecture, a field I’ve worked in ever since, more recently illustrating many Primary Care Med Centres around the country
Having watched Grand Prix races since the mid seventies, including some live at Silverstone & Brands Hatch, I have more recently added an abiding love of mine: Motorsport Art
